This ticket is the successor of #1532.
More drag and drop support would be nice to have, especially:
– Desktop (Nautilus) to Live Mode
– Scratchpad to Master Panel
– Search results to Master Panel
– Search results to Edit Playlist
Moreover, dragging an item to a text field results in a window name followed by a UniqueId, such as "searchWindow 660fc5cf5604fbaa". Files can also be dragged to a Nautilus window; here a new text file is created with the name "New file"; the contents of the file is the string above. This behavior may be confusing to users; explore how it could be changed.
