Scheduler restart stops playout until end of playlist

We have been evaluating Campcaster for a simple radio playout for an upcoming project and it seems to be ideal for the application. We noticed however that, if the scheduler demon is restarted, it doesn’t attempt to recover playout until the next playslist in the schedule. Furthermore it won’t let the current playlist be deleted because it says it is still playing. Is this correct?

The scheduler should probably check the database when started, try to resume the current item, and remove it from the schedule if resuming fails.

For this, we need an audio player API for starting an audio player or playlist at a given offset.

Please reassign it to me after this audio player component is finished.
