Campcaster 1.4 "Monrovia" Beta 2 packages available
Packages for the long-awaited Beta 2 release of Campcaster 1.4 (code-named "Monrovia") are now up on the Campcaster Ubuntu repository. These packages are for testing only, and will only work on Ubuntu Hardy.
The main change in the 1.4 Beta 2 release is a fix of a blocking bug: The scheduler now plays all files in a scheduled playlist.
The 1.4 Beta 2 packages can be downloaded by adding the Campcaster repository to your list of available software. For Synaptic users, this is under Settings -> Repositories -> Third Party Software and then adding this address:
deb http://code.campware.org/ubuntu hardy main
Then press the 'refresh' button and do a search for 'Campcaster'. You should then see the 1.4.0-2beta2 packages.
These packages are for testing only; we do not recommend you use them to power your broadcast until we have had the time to get some proper testing in. But this is something where you - the Campcaster community - can help as well.
We need people to test this release to see if everything works as advertised, and if it doesn't, we need bug reports.

| sorry, i don't know about report bug ticket.. i have problems.. when i install ubunutu, campcaster.. it's good.. everything is ok.. but, when i used campcaster on 1 week. i have problem when i click to Scheduler Month, or today or week.. i seem error messages.. | there seems to be some sort of misconfiguration in the postgresql setup that prevents campcaster from installing in ubuntu 9.04 or mint 7 anyone have any ideas?? |

| I have tried every which way to install on the latest version of Ubunto, to no avail. I'm new to Linux - should this be working, or am I doing something wrong? |

| I have managed to install the Libs part on 9.04, but it stalls on the campcaster-station with message: Depends: libxml++2.6c2a (>=2.8.1) but it is not installable And on campcaster-studio with the message: Depends: campcaster-station but it is not going to be installed Depends: libxml++2.6c2a (>=2.8.1) but it is not installable Can anyone tell me why this happens - it's quite frustrating and there are no obvious reasons. | Hi, I am new linux, my operating system is Linux Mint, and I am unable to install Campcaster. I have followed all the directions, but it still won't work. I know this software is free, but I noticed how many people's questions have went unanswered, and I must say that is extremely unprofessional of the campcaster people. |

| And, one other note, not everbody that has a Linux OS is a programer or computer wiz, so it would be cool for once to download something that is an EXE file, meaning I can install it right away instead of dicking around with source code/termianls for hours. |
